About

Fluvanna Baptist ChurchThe Body CD is a contemporary Christian Music CD featuring the Praise and Worship Band at Fluvanna Baptist Church located in Central Virginia.

In mid 2006 the Praise and Worship Band of Fluvanna Baptist Church started to feel the calling of God to write and record a CD. This led the band to many late nights of session writing and many more late nights of recording. The band entered the studio in early 2007 and finally finished what seemed to be an endless project. “It seemed that every time we thought we were finished God gave us another song that we knew just had to be on the CD”, says singer and songwriter Luke Acree.

Fluvanna Baptist Church is currently building an addition that will include a new sanctuary and several new Sunday school classrooms. It is the band’s desire to use all of the proceeds from this CD to fund the new building project.

The CD is titled “The Body” because all the songs are written by the Body and are meant to encourage the Body of Christ in her relationship with Jesus Christ. It is the band’s hope and prayer that this CD will be used by God to bless and encourage all who hear it.

    VERY COOL SITE. THE CD IS GREAT. TELL BARBARA THAT I’D LET HER SING IN MY BAND, IF SHE WOULD JUST LEARN SOME FAST SONGS.
